The look: A dimly lit and glamorous cocktail lounge by Finger Wharf. After its recent face-lift, there are showstopper installations like curved Swarovski crystal curtains refracting light off the glossy black lacquered bar. There are also plenty of private corners and comfy banquettes to relax on.
The soundtrack: Music designer Sam Jackson has developed a unique music blend including the sounds of future soul, Latin and nujazz from around the globe. Live DJ’s mix it up on busy Friday and Saturday nights.
The bar: is very well stocked! There’s forty cocktails to choose from. Knock back a refreshing Magdelena made from fresh raspberries, Absolut Vanilla and Chambord with cranberry and pink grapefruit juices ($18).
Hungry? Chef Sheroy Kermani has created an enticing Indian inspired snack menu. Devour the prawn and asparagus spears flavoured with curry leaves ($16). Or the South Indian spices and chicken parcels hand wrapped in pastry ($11).
Best for: intimate dates and impressing international guests.
Good celeb spotting? Yes! This chic hang-out has hosted stars such as Josh Harnett, Giselle Bundchen, Harrison Ford, Delta Goodrem, Sophie Monk and Russell Crowe sweeties!
