Not one, not two, but five bars? Correct. You’ll have no problem getting the party started in this vast, London-inspired watering hole located in the 1826 Argyle Stores building.
What’s the look? A gorgeous cobblestone courtyard stretches through to a dining area and two levels of dimly-lit lounge areas – it’s all caramel-coloured couches, sandstone walls, chunky timber pillars and exposed rafters.
Who’s hanging out there? Definitely the pretty people – this place lures a cool, classy crowd and the odd celebrity.
Can I expect some groovy sounds? Well, cruisy house beats spun by European and Aussie DJs, at any rate.
If I’m thirsty... The mixologists in this place have you covered with cocktail choices from $16 – try the Apple and Sage Collins or Turkish Caiprioska.
Best night to go? Friday’s the busiest.
The wow factor: The Michael McCann-designed retro lighting is pretty amazing – who knew you could make old-fashioned bulbs look like bunches of roses?
In fact, you’ve got to love the warm lighting for making you look... Younger and wrinkle-free!
