The look: Twelve Swarovski crystal chandeliers fill this intimate GPO venue. Glamorous Parisian styled décor mixes with nine dark chocolate leather booths. Snuggle up with someone special or a group of up to thirty close friends in the large booths.
The soundtrack: DJ Lady Tre spins sexy lounge music Friday and Saturday nights. Otherwise expect Buddha Bar tunes mixed with house and 1980s Duran Duran.
Signature drink: The ‘Scarlett Johansson’ cocktail made from Grey Goose vodka, Grand Marnier, lemon and cranberry juice ($16) with orange zest (the flaming ‘boom’ goes off like the siren herself).
The wow factor: Their glamorous Saturday night club ‘Crystal Boudoir’ ($40 on door, $35 pre-book) brings back 1920s club show and burlesque entertainment.
Highlights? The contortionist and crystal cat-suit.
On the menu: Nibble on the Australian cheese plate ($18.50).
Feeling fishy? Try the Japanese sashimi plate with fresh tuna, salmon and kingfish ($26).
Best for: groups of friends. There’s a steady after work ‘suit’ crowd from Tuesday to Friday.
If this bar were an animal it would be: cool and sleek like a rare black panther (wearing a crystal tiara of course!).
